The Preston Cross Hotel is pleased to offer its customers wireless broadband internet access in most areas of the hotel. Access is via customers own computers. The hotel can provide (on payment of a deposit and a small hire charge) wireless access equipment for connection to customer's computers (via an available ethernet port). Use of this service is conditional on the acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  1. This service is available for customers of the Preston Cross Hotel only. Use of this service by other persons is not permitted.
  2. The offer of this service does not guarantee internet access or constitute a binding agreement for the provision of internet access.
  3. Connection speeds may vary depending on the number of users and other factors out of our control.
  4. Whilst the Preston Cross Hotel takes reasonable steps to ensure the condition and safety of the equipment and service provided, use of this equipment and service is entirely at the risk of the user.
  5. The Preston Cross Hotel accepts no responsibility for the content of any site to which a hypertext link from this site exists. Such links are provided for your convenience on an "as is" basis with no warranty, express or implied, for the information provided within them.

  8. A daily charge may be made for this service. In addition, a deposit to cover the value of loaned equipment will be charged. The deposit will be refunded on safe return of the equipment. The Preston Cross Hotel reserves the right to charge customers the cost of replacing the equipment should it be found to be damaged.

We strongly recommend that your computer requires you to enter a user name and password to login at startup, has a firewall enabled to protect your network connection, has all recommended security patches applied for the operating system and installed software, and is running updated anti virus software.
